Burntisland Sailing Club is a member-based sailing organisation established in 1954 and based in Burntisland, Fife, on the north shore of the Firth of Forth. It offers access to an excellent deep-water harbour, with around 25 fore-and-aft moorings inside the harbour entrance and pontoon berths for 30 yachts in the inner dock. Facilities also include a well-equipped clubhouse and a compound for winter boat storage.
The club’s sailing season runs from mid-April to early October, with races on Monday and Friday evenings, an annual regatta, and additional weekend races and cruises. Members can choose from adult, household, provisional, youth, concessionary, associate, and honorary membership categories. Mooring and racing arrangements are available to members, with fees for fore-and-aft berths linked to a boat’s overall length.
The club also welcomes visiting sailors to clearly marked pontoon spaces; visitors must request a berth online in advance.
