Bur Oak Taxidermy

Bur Oak Taxidermy is a taxidermy business based in Columbia, Missouri, serving hunters and anglers who want to preserve the memories and stories behind their experiences. Founded by Tanner Craig, the business combines his lifelong interest in hunting and fishing with professional taxidermy training. Craig understands the time and effort customers invest in their pursuits and aims to give each project the same care he gives his own.

Bur Oak Taxidermy offers preservation and mounting services for mammals, birds, and fish, as well as soft tans. Its work is intended to capture more than an animal’s appearance, helping customers remember where and when a hunt or catch took place and who shared the experience. The business emphasizes artistic workmanship and high-quality results, reflecting Craig’s attention to the differences between basic and carefully finished mounts.

Customers can explore a gallery and testimonials or contact the business to discuss its services. Bur Oak Taxidermy describes itself as a Mid-Missouri taxidermy specialist.
