About Bus and Coach Association NZ
The Bus and Coach Association (BCA) New Zealand is the definitive voice of the bus and coach industry since 1931. Representing a majority of New Zealand's bus and coach companies, as well as vehicle manufacturers and industry suppliers, the BCA plays a crucial role in promoting the interests of its members.
With a fleet of over 6,400 buses, our members provide more than 150 million road passenger trips every year. This includes tourism and charter services, school transport, and public transportation. The industry contributes over $1.8 billion annually to New Zealand's GDP and employs over 13,000 staff.
The BCA focuses on facilitating best practices, working with the government for a better regulatory environment, promoting safe road passenger transport, and providing activities, information, and services to assist members in growing their businesses and meeting their goals. We also strive to enhance the professionalism and public understanding of the bus and coach industry's vital role in the New Zealand transport system and wider economy.
As a member of the BCA, you gain access to exclusive trade discounts, advice on technical and legal issues, and our Star-Grading system for vehicles. Additionally, you receive a monthly magazine, weekly email newsletters, and the opportunity to attend regular seminars, the annual conference, and trade displays.
Join the Bus and Coach Association New Zealand and become part of an influential and supportive community dedicated to advancing the industry.
