Bush Babies Childcare

Bush Babies Childcare is a locally owned and operated early childhood centre in Snells Beach, New Zealand, led by a qualified registered teacher. The centre offers a small, homely setting shaped by a nature-based approach and the principles of forest kindergarten and forest school. Its philosophy emphasizes child-led learning, play and engagement through all the senses, connecting children with nature to encourage rich learning experiences, ecological literacy and healthy living.

At Bush Babies, children are invited to play, explore, imagine, discover and wonder in the centre environment and the local community. The centre aims to make everyday experiences opportunities for learning and development, while nurturing children’s curiosity and connection with the natural world. Families can contact the team to ask about enrolments, terms of trade and the enrolment pack. Bush Babies Childcare is open Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and closes on weekends and public holidays. The centre is located at 56 Hamatana Road, Snells Beach, and welcomes enquiries by phone or email.
