About George W. Bush Presidential Center
The George W. Bush Presidential Center, located on the SMU campus in Dallas, Texas, is a nonpartisan institution dedicated to advancing the values of freedom, opportunity, accountability, and compassion. It comprises the George W.
Bush Presidential Museum, the George W. Bush Institute, and the George W. Bush Presidential Library.
The Museum promotes an understanding of the American presidency and provides access to official records and artifacts from the Bush Administration. The Institute is a solution-oriented policy organization focused on ensuring opportunity for all, strengthening democracy, and advancing free societies through policy solutions and public engagement. The Bush Center also offers unique dining and shopping experiences, as well as an urban oasis in the Native Texas Park.
In collaboration with SMU, the Center provides research opportunities and learning experiences for students. With its 226,000-square-foot building and 15-acre urban park, the Bush Center offers a unique and immersive experience centered around the legacy and principles of President George W. Bush
