Bushman's Quiver Safaris

Bushman’s Quiver Safaris is a family-operated African safari outfitter based in South Africa, offering hunting and outdoor experiences across more than 230,000 acres of hunting grounds in Southern Africa. Its safaris cover regular and dangerous game, with qualified professional hunters guiding guests and local trackers supporting hunts and trophy preparation. The company operates from three base camps: Mabula and Rhino Lodge in Limpopo, its main camp in the Western Cape, and a coastal camp in the Eastern Cape.

Beyond hunting, Bushman’s Quiver arranges fresh- and saltwater fishing adventures and lifestyle game safaris. It also provides practical support for visitors, including travel arrangements, guidance for traveling with rifles or bows, packing information, firearm import assistance, safari gear resources, and taxidermy services. The team emphasizes honesty, integrity, service, and ethical conservation, reflecting its belief that responsible hunting can contribute to wildlife management. Founded by professional hunter Stephan van der Merwe and partnered with experienced outfitter Patrick Cairns, the business aims to help guests experience South Africa’s landscapes and wildlife with knowledgeable, personal hospitality.
