About Bushwick Community Darkroom
Welcome to Bushwick Darkroom, the premier destination in Brooklyn, NY for all your film photography needs. We are dedicated to making the art of film photography affordable and accessible to everyone. Our services include b&w and color darkroom rentals by the hour, where you can develop your film and bring your visions to life.
Additionally, we offer mail-in film development for both B&W and color film, with options for scans and more. While our brick & mortar space is temporarily closed, we are working on building a new location where we will have both color and b&w gang and private darkrooms available. We also provide training and exams for members who wish to use our state-of-the-art Fuji Frontier scanner and Noritsu V50.
Although classes and workshops are currently suspended, we plan to resume offering private classes in the near future and bring back group workshops by Summer 2023. As a woman-founded and operated darkroom, we are passionate about supporting the arts and film. Join us in our mission and support us on this creative journey.
