Bushy Park Riding School

Bushy Park Riding School is an equestrian facility on Bushy Park Road in the Whanganui area, welcoming riders of all ages and skill levels. The school aims to provide a safe, enjoyable, and supportive environment for children and adults to learn, develop riding skills, and build confidence. Its well-trained, well-cared-for horses are matched with riders to suit their needs.

Services include private one-to-one lessons and shared small-group lessons in the arena. Young riders can join the after-school programme to learn to ride and make friends, while the school holiday programme offers a full day of riding games, horsemanship, and activities. Other options include pony camps, show-day pony hire with guidance from the team, and private pony schooling for a range of behavioural or training issues. Clipping is also listed among the school’s services.

Bushy Park Riding School is presented as a friendly place to enjoy horses and progress at an individual pace. Prospective riders can contact the team or book through the school.
