Businessloop

Businessloop Amersfoort is a recreational running event that brings employees and businesses from Amersfoort and the surrounding area together through sport and informal networking. Professionally organized with support from Trail & Running club Utrechtse Heuvelrug and Het Nieuwe Eemland, the event welcomes men and women of all ages and experience levels. Participants can choose a 5 km or 10 km course, making it accessible to those who are not trained runners, although some preparation is recommended.

Held at the grounds of Het Nieuwe Eemland in Amersfoort, the event combines a race with opportunities to connect over a barbecue and drinks. It also raises money for a local good cause, with contributions supported by participating runners and business sponsors. The stated beneficiary for 2026 is Toon Hermans Huis Amersfoort, which offers support to people affected by cancer and their families. Alongside the main race, the program includes a student sponsor run, a warm-up, awards, and a barbecue.
