Busselton Basketball

Busselton Basketball Association (BABA) is a community-focused basketball organisation serving Busselton, Vasse, Dunsborough and surrounding areas in Western Australia’s South West. It describes itself as the heart of basketball in the region and welcomes players across experience levels, from juniors taking their first steps in the sport to senior A-grade athletes. Recognised as WA’s Regional Association of the Year in 2024 and the state’s largest regional basketball association in 2025, BABA supports a broad local basketball community.

The association offers seasonal competitions for junior and senior players, including age-based teams, women’s competitions, men’s A and B grades, and masters. Its Blazers Representative Program develops talented players and provides opportunities to compete at state level, with representative training and elite youth coaching also available. Skills development and weekly games help participants build ability, confidence and sportsmanship. BABA also invites people to get involved as coaches, referees, team managers, volunteers and sponsors. Games and activities are hosted at Geographe Leisure Centre in West Busselton and Naturaliste Community Centre in Dunsborough.
