Stephen Buzzard, the founder, creator, and director of BuzzardBall, has built a brand that is synonymous with top-quality youth basketball programs in Sacramento. Starting as a small summer school program for kids in 1994, BuzzardBall has grown into a premier basketball program, hosting 500 kids in the summer and 800 kids in the winter. Stephen's passion for people and broadcasting led him to retire from his position as a teacher and athletic director at St. Michael's after 26 years to focus on his entrepreneurial endeavors.
With a degree in broadcast journalism from USC, Stephen has an impressive resume that includes being a post-game radio host and PA announcer for the Sacramento Kings, a radio play-by-play announcer for UC Davis Football, and a radio pre and post-game host for the Sacramento Monarchs.
