About — Buzz Music
Buzz Music is a locally owned and family operated music store based in Cairns, QLD. Established in 1985, Buzz Music quickly became North Queensland's premier musical instrument retailer. The store has always been focused on offering cutting-edge technology and instruments from world-leading brands.
In 2019, Buzz Music proudly opened its doors in its new location at 467 Mulgrave Rd. The world-class, two-floor showroom is packed with an extensive range of guitars, amps, drums, pianos, print music, string and wind instruments, and audio tech. Buzz Music is led by two passionate individuals.
Kirk, with his extensive background in trumpet, guitars, and music technology, brings his expertise in live sound and recording engineering. Leanne, a vocal powerhouse, offers her deep knowledge of contemporary voice and guitar. Together, they ensure that young musicians have access to the latest technology and provide a range of services, including education and integration of technology.
