BVD Heritage Sale

The Blue Valentine and Driftwood Heritage Production Sale is a collaborative online horse sale bringing together breeders Sunrise Farms, Lauing Ranch, and Moonshine Creek Quarter Horses, alongside other participating ranches and horse programs. Built around a shared goal of offering high-quality horses, the sale features prospects, riding horses, and breeding stock developed through years of research, selection, and breeding. Every horse offered is reported as five-panel N/N, verified by testing or parentage. Buyers can browse an online catalog and bid through DV Auction during the scheduled sale period.

The sale also supports young people interested in horses, agriculture, and education through its Kids Bid program. Each year, a designated weanling is available exclusively for bidders aged 16 and under, with parent or guardian consent; proceeds support a scholarship fund. The BV&D scholarship awards $1,500 to eligible students pursuing post-secondary education in agriculture or education. The sale’s website also provides access to breeder information and horses for sale, connecting buyers with the participating ranches and their quarter horse programs.
