The Humanitarian Association of the Volunteer Firefighters of Mondim de Basto is a community-focused organisation serving Mondim de Basto, Portugal. Founded in 1924, it was established by local residents to support a volunteer fire brigade and provide the equipment needed for its work. Today, the association brings together 71 firefighters and 27 other staff, supported by a fleet of 29 vehicles. Its mission also includes sharing information with residents and making its services more accessible to members and the wider community.

Alongside its operational work, the association is a certified training provider, recognised by INEM since November 2021. It offers courses in Basic Life Support (SBV), Basic Life Support with an Automated External Defibrillator (SBV-DAE), Transport Ambulance Crew (TAT) and Emergency Ambulance Crew (TAS). Courses serve the general public as well as prospective ambulance crew members and other emergency responders. Training covers resuscitation, defibrillator use, victim assessment and stabilisation.
