About ByBi
ByBi is an urban beekeeping organization based in Oslo, Norway, with a strong focus on promoting biodiversity. As a local chapter under the Norwegian Beekeepers Association, ByBi has around 300 members who are dedicated to preserving and enhancing the city's natural environment through voluntary efforts. ByBi offers various services and products to engage both individuals and businesses in their mission.
They provide training courses, honey tastings, and educational events for residents, policymakers, urban developers, farmers, academics, and businesses. ByBi also operates a shared honey extraction facility, supported by the Oslo municipality, exclusively for its members with up to 8-10 beehives per day in the Greater Oslo area. Additionally, ByBi sells a selection of their exceptional honeys, each with a unique and local signature, through their online store.
