About BYEI
Bangladesh Youth Environmental Initiative (BYEI) is a youth nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about the ecological and climate crisis. Our mission is to inspire and empower Bangladeshi youth to take environmental action and protect the nature and ecosystems that sustain life. Established in 2009 by a group of university students, BYEI has become a leading youth organization in the environmental sector of Bangladesh.
At BYEI, we offer various programs and initiatives to engage and educate youth. Our Green Skills Program equips young people with the knowledge and skills necessary to address emerging socio-economic and environmental challenges. The Earth Champions Program and National Earth Olympiad provide platforms for young eco-heroes to showcase their innovative ideas and projects.
