Byerley Park is a thoroughbred training and breeding operation based in Kingseat, South Auckland. Established by Daniel Nakhle and his father, Elias, the facility brings their shared passion for thoroughbred horses together with a commitment to producing successful racehorses, quality bloodstock and skilled graduates. Its services include a training centre, a breeding operation and the NZ Equine Academy, which supports students and apprentice jockeys as they develop their expertise.
Byerley Park also offers ownership opportunities for those interested in racehorses. The property is named after Byerley Turk, one of the three foundation stallions of the modern thoroughbred, reflecting the operation’s ambition to build a lasting legacy through its horses, breeding and education. Located at 3 McKenzie Road, Kingseat, Byerley Park is around 12 minutes from the southern motorway offramp and near the stud farms Haunui Farm and Westbury Stud.
With dedicated facilities and a focus on training, breeding and equine education, the operation serves participants across several parts of the thoroughbred industry
