Byrom&Byrom Midwives

Byrom & Byrom is a mother-and-daughter midwifery partnership dedicated to improving maternity care for mothers, babies, families and midwives. Founded on the professional experience of Sheena and Anna Byrom, the brand brings together perspectives spanning different generations of midwifery practice. Their work is guided by compassion, kindness, collaboration and a focus on health and wellbeing.

The partners aim to build meaningful relationships with midwives and maternity care workers, foster professional networks, and encourage innovation and positive change across maternity services. Their experience includes clinical practice, midwifery leadership, education, community infant-feeding support and research. Anna is a midwifery lecturer and Editor-in-Chief of The Practising Midwife journal; Sheena is a former head of midwifery with a career across clinical practice and management.

Byrom & Byrom shares its work through consultancy, case studies, publications, news, blog posts and video content. The partnership also highlights collaborations, achievements and recommendations, and offers updates through a mailing list. Its resources and activities are intended to support learning, connection and the ongoing development of maternity care.
