bySmedesign

BySmedesign is a design brand created by Søren Petersen, a trained metalworker and technical draftsman with a passion for developing and making distinctive interior products. Guided by craftsmanship, quality materials and practical design, the brand creates pieces intended to bring character and a modern, stylish feel to a room. Each design has its own expression and story, making the products individual rather than uniform.

The collection includes lamps, mirrors, wine and coffee tables, shelves and bookcases for homes as well as hotels, restaurants and shops. Metal is the primary material, giving many pieces a rustic appearance with clean, straight lines. Some designs combine metal with glass, leather or wood for a contrasting, contemporary look. Featured products include a tall table lamp with a triangular base and fabric-covered cord, and distinctive mirrors ranging from a set of three narrow, floor-to-ceiling panels to a single mirror suspended from a sturdy leather strap. BySmedesign develops its range over time, with an emphasis on creating useful, original interior pieces.
