Byte Bengkel

Byte Bengkel is an independent laptop and computer repair business based in Menteng, Central Jakarta. Founded in 2013 by technician Hendra Wijaya, the workshop serves households, students, small offices, and cafés across the area, with scheduled courier collection available for customers in other Southeast Asian cities. Its approach centers on free, no-obligation diagnostics, clear pricing before work begins, and written warranties for repairs. Customers can bring in or send a device, receive an explanation of the issue and estimated cost, and approve the repair before technicians proceed.

Services include laptop screen, keyboard, hinge, and component repairs; SSD and RAM upgrades with data migration; fan cleaning and thermal-paste replacement; data recovery from failing hard drives and SSDs; and system reinstallation and virus cleanup. Byte Bengkel also offers home and office visits for desktop computers and multiple devices in Central Jakarta. Repair times vary by service, from a few hours for some upgrades and maintenance to several days for complex work.
