About Centre For Immunology & Infection
The Centre for Immunology & Infection (C2i) is a leading institution in Hong Kong that focuses on four major research programs aimed at addressing public health challenges. Their goal is to establish Hong Kong as a global center of excellence for precision medicine population strategies and innovative interventions targeting emerging infectious diseases. C2i uses novel technology platforms for biomarker discovery and the development of new vaccine and therapeutic strategies.
With over 20 years of partnership between the LKS Faculty of Medicine of the University of Hong Kong (HKUMed) and the Institut Pasteur, C2i brings together the expertise of these two major institutions to create a center of excellence. Their research programs include the Healthy Human Global Project, Novel Vaccine Platforms for Influenza and Mosquito-borne Viruses, and a Novel Platform of Respiratory Tract.
