The Communauté d’Agglomération des 2 Baies en Montreuillois (CA2BM) is a French intermunicipal authority serving residents, businesses and municipalities across the Montreuillois territory. Based in Montreuil-sur-Mer, it works to support local development, improve public services and enhance quality of life. Its responsibilities span economic development and land-use planning, alongside environmental protection, ecological transition, flood prevention and coastal management.
CA2BM provides or coordinates a broad range of practical services. These include public transport by bus, cycling and train, carpooling areas, waste collection, recycling and waste facilities, and water and sanitation services. Residents can also access support related to housing, urban planning, social services, childcare and justice. Leisure and cultural offerings include swimming pools, media libraries, cinemas, sports facilities, cultural events, music education and hiking trails. The authority also supports tourism, agriculture and local food initiatives, including assistance for farmers and a territorial food project. In partnership with Opale&Co, it has developed a territorial brand to promote the Montreuillois, attract entrepreneurs and highlight the area’s assets and ambitions.
