CAA Energy GmbH

CAA Energy GmbH provides customized renewable energy systems designed to expand access to reliable, sustainable power, particularly across Sub-Saharan Africa. Its work supports rural communities and essential services through solar infrastructure developed in collaboration with local partners and participation in international projects.

The company offers on-grid systems that supply electricity for direct use and can feed surplus production back into the grid. Its off-grid systems provide power independently of the national grid, while hybrid systems combine solar generation and energy storage with sources such as grid connections, generators, or wind turbines. CAA Energy also supplies solar-powered water-pumping systems designed to help communities access water in rural and urban areas.

Its project experience includes off-grid solar installations for health centres, schools, refugee facilities, and settlement infrastructure in Uganda; solar streetlights in Syria; and containerised photovoltaic mini-grids in Sierra Leone. The company reports supporting the electrification of health centres and schools and the installation of water sites globally.
