ACPC Raza Menorquina

The Association of Breeders and Owners of Menorcan Horses is an organisation dedicated to conserving, improving and promoting the Menorcan horse breed. Based in Ciutadella de Menorca in Spain’s Balearic Islands, it supports breeders, owners and others interested in the breed through information, activities and administrative resources.

Its work covers the horse’s characteristics and breeding improvement programme, research, and the breed’s genealogical studbook. The association also provides guidance on studbook procedures and general paperwork, including processes for breeders and individual animals, as well as membership applications and departures. Visitors can find information about member breeding farms and browse listings of horses, mares, colts, fillies and equestrian accessories offered for sale.

The organisation promotes participation in equestrian events, with sections devoted to Menorcan dressage, classical dressage and morphology competitions. Its website also shares news, a calendar, training opportunities and information about collaborating entities. Activities highlighted include an equine therapy event and a seminar on horse coat colours.
