CABB LFGR

The Centre d’Aviation du Bassin de Briey (C. A. B.

B. ) is a nonprofit, volunteer-run flying association based at Doncourt-les-Conflans airfield in northeastern France. Bringing together people who share a passion for aviation, the club works to introduce the public to light aviation and provide opportunities for both new and experienced pilots.

Its services include pilot training, introductory flights, discovery flights, access to a flight simulator, and aircraft loans. The flying school supports people who want to begin or continue their pilot training, while existing pilots can learn about the club’s aircraft and flying facilities. Its fleet includes Robin DR400 and DR401 aircraft, a Piper PA-28, and a Dynamic WT9; the club notes that its aircraft have dual controls.

The airfield has a 1,000-metre grass runway and is located about three kilometres from Jarny and roughly 20 kilometres from Metz. The association is generally open daily, subject to weather conditions, and provides local flight information, photos, videos, and contact details for visitors and members
