Held in Logan, Utah, the event features a horse and rider towing a skier through a course of gates, jumps and, in some designs, rings. As part of PRO Skijor and the 2026 Frontier Tour, Cache Valley joins other tour stops across Utah, Montana and Idaho, with championship finals scheduled for Salt Lake City.
The Logan event welcomes spectators and competitors, with divisions for a range of ages and ability levels. Competitors can choose Novice, Sport or Pro, along with secondary divisions including Women’s, Snowboard and Century, and race for buckles, prizes and cash. Spectators can choose general admission, VIP areas or designated tailgate spots with course-side views.
The event plans for winter conditions with machine-made snow if needed. Tickets, team registration, standings and merchandise are available through PROskijor. com.
Cache Valley SkiJoring also welcomes volunteers, who help make the event possible. It offers an entertaining way to experience a distinctive, high-energy winter sport
