Cactus Creek Bowhunting

Cactus Creek Bow Hunting Ranch is a high-fence hunting ranch in Nixon, Texas, offering affordable archery hunts for hogs, exotic animals, and white-tailed deer. The ranch has provided hunting experiences for 20 years and is about an hour from Austin and San Antonio, and approximately two and a half hours from Houston.

Hunters can choose their own schedule, with morning and evening opportunities at eight elevated stands equipped with automatic feeders. Four stands accommodate two people, making them suitable for shared hunts or filming. Guests can also explore the ranch on foot for spot-and-stalk hunting. Only one hunting group is booked at a time, allowing guests to follow their preferred hunting style.

Accommodation is available in a bunkhouse that sleeps up to 13 and includes a full kitchen and bathroom. The ranch also provides a 4x4 vehicle for retrieving game, a walk-in cooler, and two electric hoists for processing. Meals are not included, though a cook may be available by advance request.
