About Cactus Foundation Africa
The Cactus Foundation is an African-based direct action organization focused on the protection and welfare of animals and children on the continent. Established in 2021, we are dedicated to promoting children's education and animal welfare in Africa. Our initiatives include educating children on animal welfare and rescuing animals in distress.
We have set up a rescue and rehabilitation center with an on-site veterinary clinic for animals affected by abuse, neglect, or trafficking. Simultaneously, we run educational programs for children to instill values of compassion, empathy, and respect for all living beings and the environment. By integrating animal welfare efforts with sustainability education, we aim to foster a future where children and animals coexist harmoniously.
