Consumer Advocacy & Empowerment Foundation (CADEF) is a non-profit organization in Nigeria dedicated to empowering and protecting consumers. We strive to increase awareness and defend consumer rights through research, policy analysis, advocacy, education, and legal representation. Our goal is to ensure that vulnerable consumers in society are well-protected and informed.

At CADEF, we believe in system-based advocacy that challenges and improves policies and practices for the benefit of consumers. We work to reduce the proliferation of sub-standard goods and services and partner with stakeholders to provide information, resources, testing, and compensation. In addition to our core focus areas, we also work on health and safety, climate change, inclusive education, and migration.
