CaD Galerie is an art space in Huy, Belgium, where it has supported artists since 1986. Located in the medieval town on the Meuse, between the cultural centres of Liège, Namur and Brussels, the gallery presents artists who have shaped the history of contemporary art in Belgium, with a particular focus on post-war abstraction. Its work includes highlighting the contribution of artists such as José Picon, Georges Collignon and Léopold Plomteux, whose careers are closely associated with the gallery’s artistic heritage.

The gallery’s project is to promote Belgian artistic heritage in post-war abstraction while also presenting contemporary artists. It advocates internationally for the recognition of artists whose works, whether abstract or not, have made a significant mark on Belgian art through their commitment and the intrinsic quality of each unique piece. Visitors can explore current exhibitions, follow the gallery’s news and events, and subscribe to its newsletter for updates. Through this programme, CaD Galerie connects audiences with distinctive works and artists central to Belgium’s modern and contemporary art history.
