Café Cadans

Café Cadans is a sustainable cycling café in Arnhem, Netherlands, welcoming cyclists, walkers, coffee lovers and local residents. Its cosy, living-room atmosphere makes it a place to enjoy quality coffee, meet others, gather before a ride or simply take a break. The café combines hospitality with a practical commitment to reuse and community.

Cadans designs and builds custom cargo and transport bikes around customers’ needs, intended use and budget. Its range includes compact, practical Muli Cycles cargo bikes in versions with or without electric assistance, as well as bespoke bikes made using reclaimed frames. The café also sells affordable city and sport bikes, refurbished in its own workshop to give used bicycles a new lease on life.

The workshop supports both bicycles and people. It offers a safe, social learning environment where participants can develop their interests and abilities through bike repair, café work and making unique products. Café Cadans also hosts community events and creative activities, bringing people together while encouraging movement, craftsmanship and more sustainable choices.
