Café Momentum is a pioneering nonprofit restaurant with a mission to empower justice-involved youth through transformative experiences in the culinary arts. Established in January 2015 in Dallas, Texas, Café Momentum has since impacted over 1,200 young people aged 15-19 via its innovative paid internship program. Interns engage in comprehensive training that encompasses not only culinary skills but also essential life and social skills, preparing them for future success in various career paths.
Café Momentum serves fresh, locally sourced New American cuisine crafted by a talented team of chefs alongside these interns. With locations in Dallas and Pittsburgh, and an Atlanta restaurant on the way, the brand continues to expand its reach. Additionally, Café Momentum offers a range of branded merchandise, with proceeds supporting their impactful programs. Through its mission of "Eat. Drink. Change Lives," Café Momentum redefines community support and workforce development, creating genuine change in the lives of the youth it serves.
