CAFE RATZ

CAFE RATZ is a children’s and youth centre in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim, with additional activities and services delivered through its associated locations. It provides welcoming spaces where children and young people can meet, take part in activities, develop their interests and contribute ideas. The youth programme includes movement activities, media projects, opportunities for girls, queer-focused activities, excursions and a youth council that represents young people’s interests to local government. Children can join the KINDER RATZ programme and regular children’s meetups, while families can find information about school-holiday care and seasonal activities.

The centre also runs the RATZELBACH children’s play city during school holidays and operates the MOBIFANT mobile play service, with a published schedule and play-equipment rental. Its activities include creative and workshop projects, a bee initiative and opportunities to explore nature and practical skills. The site also features café offerings under the names ESSCAFE and GUT DRAUF!, including brunch. CAFE RATZ publishes opening hours, programme updates and information for families, and invites local children and young people to participate.
