About CAFI
CAFI (Central America Angel Fund Initiative) is the Central American angel investment network that supports entrepreneurs using technology to tackle the region's biggest challenges. With an average of over 15 years of business experience across various sectors, our members believe in providing more than just capital. We offer high-level connections, mentoring, and Office Hours to add value to the startups we support.
Our focus is on areas such as Fintech, Edtech, HRtech, Proptech, Climatech, Healthtech, Future of Work (FOW), and Ecommerce. We prioritize diverse teams, with at least one woman as a founder or co-founder. We invest in startups with multidisciplinary and diverse teams dedicated full time to their ventures.
Startups interested in venture capital financing and targeting the Central American and Mexican markets are ideal candidates for us. Our investment ranges from $5K to $50K, utilizing SAFEs or similar instruments. Join us in driving economic growth, reducing inequality, and providing access to basic goods and services in Latin America.
