Cooperativa Cafetera de la Costa

Caficosta is a coffee cooperative representing around 2,600 small-scale producers in Colombia’s Caribbean region. Its members grow coffee in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the Serranía del Perijá, and the Serranía de San Lucas, where local landscapes and agricultural traditions shape the character of each origin. The cooperative offers gourmet roasted coffee in whole-bean and ground formats, with three featured origins. San Lucas is noted for balanced body and acidity with lingering sweetness; Sierra Nevada coffee offers medium acidity, fuller body, and panela and chocolate notes; and Perijá coffee is distinguished by brighter acidity and wine-like notes.

Caficosta emphasizes coffee quality, sustainable farming, and organic production, and describes itself as Colombia’s largest organic coffee producer.
