CAFK

The Czech Association of Friesian Horses (CAFK) is an association of Friesian horse owners and breeders in the Czech Republic. It is the country’s officially recognized partner of the Dutch KFPS, the organization that maintains the breed’s main studbook. CAFK helps people living in the Czech Republic access KFPS membership, which is needed for many horse-related administrative procedures, including ownership changes, pedigree updates and participation in inspections.

The association provides information and guidance on Friesian horse registration, breeding, care and breed standards. Its services include facilitating horse and member registrations, sharing information about frozen semen, and advising owners on topics such as DNA testing, pedigrees and preparing horses for inspections. CAFK also organizes inspections, seminars and other events for members, including performance and sport-related activities. Its website offers association documents, meeting records, news, event details, results and educational resources for owners and breeders. Membership is open to individuals and legal entities that meet the requirements set out in the association’s statutes.
