CAF RISE ABOVE Squadron (formerly known as the CAF Red Tail Squadron) is an inspirational brand dedicated to educating and inspiring young people to overcome adversity. Their three-fold educational outreach program brings the history and legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen and Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) to life in communities and classrooms. What set the Tuskegee Airmen and WASP apart was their unwavering determination and belief that hard work and dedication could overcome any obstacle.
The CAF RISE ABOVE program includes the RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit, a mobile movie theater showcasing compelling films about the Tuskegee Airmen and the WASP. The exhibit also features fully restored WWII-era aircraft such as the iconic P-51C Mustang and the AT-6 Texan Nella. In addition, CAF RISE ABOVE provides extensive educational resources for students, teachers, parents, and anyone seeking to learn from these courageous trailblazers.
