About CAGI
The Consultative Association of Guyanese Industry (CAGI) is a prominent organization established in 1962, focusing on representing the interests of employers in labor relations issues. As the national Employers’ Organization, CAGI plays a crucial role in labor, social policy, and human resource development, serving as the voice for major companies, corporations, and small to medium-sized enterprises in both private and public sectors. CAGI, as a member of the Private Sector Commission, leads discussions on labor policy, industrial relations, and trade union matters in Guyana.
Their array of services includes lobbying for policy formulation, providing advisory services on labor relations and industrial practices, offering professional consultancy on human resources management, and facilitating training and development for enterprise staff.
