CahuillaMountainRetreat

Cahuilla Mountain Retreat is a private vacation rental set on five acres of wilderness above the clouds in Southern California, bordering the San Bernardino National Forest. Located in Anza, it offers a quiet escape roughly two hours from San Diego or Los Angeles, with direct access to natural surroundings and nearby hiking. The retreat welcomes couples, families, solo travelers, writers, and artists seeking time to rest, create, or reconnect.

Guests can enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, king-size beds, high-speed Wi-Fi, cozy indoor spaces, an oversized deck, and a hot tub overlooking mountain scenery. The property is suited to longer stays, giving visitors room to unwind, explore local trails, and enjoy sunrises and starry skies. Cahuilla Mountain Trail is nearby, while the surrounding national forest offers extensive opportunities for outdoor recreation.

The retreat accommodates bookings of up to five guests, although the county-approved maximum occupancy is ten. Access includes steep, unpaved dirt roads that can become muddy in wet weather; all-wheel or four-wheel drive is recommended, particularly during rain or snow.
