The Club Alpino Italiano (CAI) Section of Barlassina is a local mountain community based in Barlassina, in the province of Monza and Brianza. It brings people together to enjoy climbing, hiking and other activities connected with mountain life. Members can take part in social excursions throughout the year, including outings organized by the Seniores group, which schedules midweek walks. The section also organizes mountaineering trips, cultural events, courses and community activities, with calendars and trip information available to participants.
Its climbing gym welcomes adults and children from age six, and prospective climbers can attend a free trial session on selected evenings. Gym access requires a valid CAI membership card and completed registration; climbing shoes are also required. The section provides access rules and risk information for visitors to review. The Barlassina clubhouse is open on Tuesday and Friday evenings, with secretarial hours on those days. People can join the CAI, participate in activities, or support the section through Italyβs five-per-thousand tax donation scheme.
