CAI Brignano

CAI Brignano is a local section of the Italian Alpine Club, created to bring the mountains closer to the Brignano community. Built through the commitment of its founding members and support from local residents, the association is based at Palazzo Visconti, where it provides a meeting point for people who enjoy the outdoors. Its mission is to share a love of the mountains through education and shared experiences, while promoting human, cultural and ethical values.

The section offers hiking activities for a range of participants, including day outings, weekends, and multi-day walks and treks. Its programme also includes mountaineering, youth mountaineering, family activities and cycle touring. Educational activities for young people help introduce them to mountain environments and outdoor pursuits. The association also manages Baita del Nono, an accessible mountain hut that serves as a base for outdoor activities. Participants are advised to bring clothing and equipment suited to each route, as specified for individual events.
