Cairns Charts

Cairns Charts is a trusted brand that provides a wide range of electronic charts and maps for navigational purposes. They offer Electronic Navigation Charts (ENC) in IHO compliant S57 format with S63 encryption, ensuring data validity and security. For coverage of Australian waters and Papua New Guinea, they recommend the AusENC packs, which include Port, Coastal, and Voyager packs depending on the desired coverage.

They also offer an Australia pack for full coverage. Cairns Charts also supplies ENC outside of the AusENC coverage area through the UKHO Admiralty distribution scheme. ENC are vector-based data sets that can replace paper charts and are approved by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) for SOLAS class vessels.

Cairns Charts provides high-quality official ENC, which are regularly updated and comply with international standards, ensuring their fitness for navigation. It is recommended to consult a professional chart agent before investing in electronic navigational aids
