Cairo Jazz Festival is a highly anticipated International Jazz Festival that spans various disciplines and is held annually in October. Dedicated to showcasing the best of Jazz from around the world, the festival has become a prominent event in the music calendar. The upcoming 14th edition of CJF will take place from 27th October to 4th November 2022 at the old campus of the American University in Cairo, now known as AUC Tahrir Cultural Center.

One of the festival's highlights is the Main Stage at Ewart Memorial Hall, a historic venue that has hosted iconic artists such as Oum Kolthoum, Louis Armstrong, Artie Shaw, and Herbie Hancock. This year, CJF will feature over 100 musicians from sixteen countries, including Egypt, Germany, USA, Denmark, Italy, and more. In addition to the captivating live concerts, CJF offers a diverse program featuring workshops, Jazz for Kids sessions, film screenings, jam sessions, JAZZ TALKS, and a photo exhibition.

Collaborations with the Jesuit Cultural Center, Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and the popular Cairo Jazz Club add extra dimension to the festival experience. CJF is proudly produced by Agwa for Event Organizing, with funding from the European Union in partnership with the European Union National Institutes of Culture (EUNIC). Under the esteemed patronage of the Ministry of Culture of Egypt, the festival receives support from various institutions including AUC Tahrir Cultural Center, the US embassy, and the French Institute.
