The Club Alpino Italiano (CAI) Subsection of Vaprio d’Adda is a local branch of the Bergamo section of Italy’s national Alpine Club, based in Vaprio d’Adda, near Milan. It brings together people interested in mountain activities and offers a varied calendar of courses, outings and community events. Its programme includes guided excursions, via ferrata trips, cycling activities and routes such as stages of the Via Decia and the Sentiero del Viandante.

The subsection also promotes specialist instruction through its SFE school, with courses and training programmes listed for the 2026–27 season, including telemark and other mountain-related offerings. Members and visitors can take part in CAI Giovani activities, talks and social gatherings, as well as events hosted at the group’s baita.
