About CalcSolver
CalcSolver is a free online calculator and collection of math tools designed for quick, accessible problem-solving. Created by math teacher Priya Nakamura, it runs in a web browser without an installation, account, or subscription, and is designed to work on phones, tablets, computers, and school Chromebooks. Its scientific calculator handles arithmetic, algebra, trigonometry, logarithms, powers, roots, factorials, and percentages.
Code Mode lets users type expressions such as sin(45) or sqrt(81) directly, alongside a clickable keypad and keyboard shortcuts. CalcSolver also offers more than 20 dedicated tools for common math tasks. These include fraction operations, percentage calculations, measurement conversion, area and perimeter, graphing, prime testing, GCF and LCM, ratios, data summaries, powers and roots, Roman numeral translation, and number-base conversion.
Other resources include a multiplication grid, linear equation helper, and triangle solver. The tools are intended to show working as well as answers, supporting learning across topics. Calculations run in the browser, and the site states that they are not stored or sent elsewhere
