Caldera Engineering designs and manufactures critical valve and flow-control solutions for harsh industrial environments, with a particular focus on hydrometallurgy applications such as high-pressure acid leach (HPAL) and pressure oxidation (POX). Its products are developed to address demanding operating conditions and help reduce equipment failures, maintenance costs, and unscheduled shutdowns. The range includes letdown systems, ceramic-trimmed valves, valve plugs and seats, mounting flanges, blast tubes, impingement blocks, ceramic-lined piping, oxygen spargers and isolation valves, in-line chokes, ram-style valves, and pilot-plant equipment.
Caldera also provides engineering and customer support services, including flow-control and letdown-system engineering, finite element analysis, failure analysis, computational fluid dynamics modeling, product development, project management, design support, and on-site assistance. The company offers equipment rebuilds and upgrades and responds to customer emergencies. Its teams engineer and manufacture equipment at facilities in Provo, Utah, and Wangara, Western Australia. Products are made and assembled to Caldera’s quality assurance plan and customer requirements, supported by an ISO 9001 quality management system.
