**Brand Description: Calendario de Aguas Abiertas**

Calendario de Aguas Abiertas is a dedicated platform that serves as a comprehensive resource for open water swimming enthusiasts in Spain. Launched as a nonprofit initiative, it aggregates all major swimming events, providing clear information on event dates, locations, and details. The goal is to create a singular, easy-to-navigate source, eliminating the need for extensive searches across various social media and websites.

Since its inception in 2019, the site has grown to offer information on over 1,640 events, encouraging community input and collaboration. Users are invited to contribute additional information or corrections, ensuring the calendar remains accurate and up-to-date.

In addition to its user-friendly event listings, Calendario de Aguas Abiertas emphasizes the spirit of teamwork and challenge inherent in the open water swimming community. The platform is built using modern web technologies, reflecting the founder's passion for both swimming and web development. Support for the project is encouraged, allowing it to continue to thrive as a free, invaluable resource for swimmers across the region.
