Welcome to Calgary Folk Festival! We are a non-profit charitable organization that produces music and cultural events all year. Our offerings include the Calgary Folk Music Festival, which has been delighting audiences since 1980, and the Block Heater winter festival, which has been running since 2016. In addition to these festivals, we provide educational programming such as our annual Boot Camp, and we host concerts at our own venue, Festival Hall in Inglewood, as well as partner venues across Calgary.

At Calgary Folk Festival, we are passionate about sharing our love for music and creating exceptional experiences for our audience. We strive to maintain a vibrant and sustainable organization that fosters community spirit. We are proud to be powered by a team of 2000 volunteers, governed by a dedicated Board of Directors, and supported by our staff team.

We are also committed to providing a safer space for everyone who attends our events. Through our work with community organizations, we have implemented a Safer Spaces policy that ensures the physical, mental, and emotional safety of all individuals.
