CaliforniaCichlids

California Cichlids is a U.S. online retailer specializing in rare African cichlids and other freshwater aquarium fish. Drawing on more than 30 years of experience, the business imports fish from their native waters and breeds and raises them for aquarium enthusiasts. Its selection includes species from Lakes Malawi, Tanganyika, and Victoria, including Aulonocara peacocks, Mbuna, and other hard-to-find cichlids. The store also offers South American cichlids, Synodontis catfish, plecostomus, Medaka rice fish, and other freshwater species.

Alongside live fish, California Cichlids sells aquatic plants, aquarium decorations, fish food, and supplies. Customers can order online for delivery across the United States, with shipping costs based on location and order details, or arrange local pickup by appointment. The company serves both beginner and experienced aquarists, emphasizing healthy livestock, careful shipping, and customer support. It also shares information through African cichlid articles and offers warehouse visits by appointment, where customers can view fish and receive guidance on choosing suitable additions for their aquariums.
