About CA Family Council
Welcome to the California Family Council! As a brand, our mission is to advance God's design for life, family, and liberty through California's Church, Capitol, and Culture. We strive to see God's people living as principled citizens of both heaven and earth, being Biblically faithful, civically responsible, and culturally impactful. Our dedicated board members, led by Pastor Dave Sawkins as Chairman, work tirelessly to ensure our vision is realized.
Brian Pharris serves as the Vice Chairman, Kelly Dunagan as the Treasurer, and Phil Kell as the Secretary. Dr. John Whiffen also brings his expertise to the team.
At the California Family Council, we aim to provide informative resources and take action on important issues that affect families, such as our Parent Rally/Lobby Day, Parent Notification Policy, and Bill Watch List.
